Key responsibilities
- Assemble, install and maintain mechanical components of automated systems and machinery.
- Interpret engineering drawings and schematics to fit components accurately.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers and technicians to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards during all fitting activities.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Provide support and training to junior staff as needed.
What you'll bring
Essential
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and engineering principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- A valid Australian driver's licence.
