The challenge
Taurean Door Systems, part of steel building products group Stramit, consolidated Victorian operations into a new 7,000m² factory at Knoxfield. Every production machine had to come out of Bayswater North and be running in Knoxfield — with the gap between last panel made and first panel made as short as possible.

The solution
After ten months of planning alongside Stramit's project team, execution took one month: decommissioning began 21 December; the plant was fully operational by 18 January. Mobile Automation decommissioned all machines, ran all site power including single- and double-phase outputs, backed up and verified all PLC data, recommissioned every machine, ran fibre optics and powered the administration areas.
The results
- Complete factory relocation executed in a four-week window
- Every machine verified against pre-move PLC backups — no surprises at startup
- Stramit's project manager: "Can't speak highly enough… one really happy customer."
